Release Notes - 3rd March 2008

The following release notes provide information on the latest series of updates to be made to the ChurchInsight service.

Shop/Store enhancements

• Shop categories ordering capability added.
• Improvements to digital file display ordering within shop items. 
• Telephone number now included on the printable version of shop orders.
• Downloading purchased digital files made more user friendly.
• Digital downloads with a preview now automatically provide a link for upgrading when the user has an out of date version of flash player.

Other Themes and Layouts enhancements

• Components are now categorised in the layout editor making it easier to locate the required module.
• A new Breadcrumb navigation component has been added. Breadcrumb navigation displays the navigation path to the user’s current location helping navigation around the web site.
• Component tooltip descriptions have been added to describe briefly what each component would be used for.
• Media component and Event pop-up styling added to the Theme editor.
  

Other enhancements/fixes

• Improvements have been made to the user details interface in the Web Office including separate 'Save and 'Close' buttons and a prompt to save changes when unsaved changes exist.
  
• Monthly Calendar can now be filtered to display only events in a specific group and its sub groups.
  
• Printable address book export function made more user friendly in the Web Office.
• Component caching improved to enhance performance.
• Caching of membership list improved.
• Images inserted into adverts are now saved correctly when using Firefox.
• Cancellation date of payment group registrations now displayed in the registration details.
• Validation of the end date of a recurring event series added, forcing it to be after the first event in the series.
• Extra 'return to organisation list' link added to the organisation details display, making it easier to navigate back to the directory listing.
  
• The click tracking report details on a mailing, which is used to determine how many users have followed the links in your mailing, now also displays the specific people who haven't followed a particular link.
• Forwarded click tracking links now consistently work.
• Click tracking details report terminology changed to make it clearer.
  
• Changes to the Welcome article editor of Payment Groups including: larger editor view, prompt to save changes when moving away from the 'Welcome' article of a payment group, and recovery of 'Welcome' article upon session timeout.
• Queries for an exact match on the record created, last modified, last logged in fields now work correctly and take into account the site time zone.
• Query task added to sub directories.
• Free text query added on the user title.
• Queries are now only saved when specified.
• 'Where used' column updated immediately when a theme is applied to a group.
• Fix to prevent events being added to root group when group context has been lost.
• Improvements to editing receivables interface within Payment group registrations.
