Publisher
The publisher is at the heart of Endis and gives everyone an easy way to publish information onto your web site.
Although powerful and flexible, the publisher is easy to use and requires no knowledge of web site programming or web technologies - simply type, copy and paste - and publish! The publisher gives you complete control over what appears on your site. Everyone can publish his or her own information with the web based publishing wizard. Content is created quickly and easily using a series of templates such as a brochure, article, photo album, advert, poll or form.
The editor works like a word processor, allowing you to compose your text and add formatting like bold and italics, tables, lists and images. You can add links to other parts of the web site: other articles, events in the calendar, users' contact details or other web sites.
The publisher allows you to create forms to collect input from visitors to your site. You could use this to create sign up lists, booking forms for events or to gather responses to new initiatives. The responses to your form can be downloaded from the Web Office in an Excel spreadsheet or a Word document for further processing and easy use.
Removing the bottleneck in the publishing process
|
Endis allows for full workflow management of your site. Every user is able to write documents and submit them to designated editors who can authorise articles for publication. Powerful document management features allow you to set publish and expiry dates - after which they are no longer displayed so out of date content need never feature on the site. The publisher is integrated with the Endis network to allow editors to syndicate useful articles from other web sites using the Endis system! |

Security is built into the Endis system at this most fundamental level. A series of permission levels means that it is possible to maintain editorial control over the content of the site without introducing a bottle-neck to the publishing process. Your editors will have full control over what appears on your site.
