The Design Brief

All creations need to be designed first in the imagination before they can be created in reality.

Your web site is no exception, it needs to be imagined and clearly described before it can be created.

You should brief your graphic designers clearly to give them a starting point for a design proposal. The core areas to think about are:

  • Overall feel - describe simply the overall look of the site you are after e.g. friendly and fun, slick and professional.
  • Existing Branding - make sure the look is consistent with existing graphics e.g. logo, flyers etc. So your organization has a consistent and clear image.
  • Layout - think about the elements that you would like to appear on the homepage of the site. All possible components available are listed in the layout section of Themes and Layouts.

Alternatively we can work with you to develop a design and implement it for a cost. Contact us for more information about this.
